Hospice and Palliative Care Services

Malaysian CARE has a directory that compiles an extensive list of governmental, non-governmental and private organisations that provide services to persons with disabilities in Malaysia. The list of hospitals is also included.

Visitors to the directory may look for services through the service directory by using the pre-existing search filters, i.e., state, age group, disability served, organization type.

You may also use the “Organisation Name” search box if you could not find you are looking for. Below are some suggested keywords to help you navigate the directory (please use 1-2 keywords):

• • Type of disability, example: autism, dyslexia, rare (for rare disease)
• • Type of service, example:
  • ► “pemulihan” for community-based rehabilitation (PDK) centres
  • ► “speech” for speech therapy
  • ► “bengkel or workshop” for sheltered workshops
  • ► “thera” for occupational or speech therapy

Also, do remember to reset all the pre-existing search filters to “Select All” if you are conducting a new search.

Malaysian Information Network on Disabilities (MIND) has a directory that includes a list with many organisations providing support services to persons with disabilities in Malaysia. The directory has navigation buttons to filter results by state, age group and type of disability.
